MAKING OF DANCING WITH THE STARS: 1.First I had to select video clips for each artist and make sure there was enough space in each clip to fit another person dancing and the dancing in the clip were facing fwd for the most part. 2. Next I had to learn the dance steps and perform them each from memory with nothing but the music (no visuals) in front of a greenscreen on a 3ft wide green wooden board. Even the scenes that may seem as if I'm moving were all done in place. 3. Finally, I linked the dances up in final cut pro making certain my size was properly proportioned and the color was mixed well. A few TV channel changing effects and viola! Voici une reprise du hit "You Rock My World" que j'ai intégralement enregistré a cappella en hommage au roi de la pop. Il n'y a aucun instrument, batterie, synthé, octavieur ni sampler. J'ai ajouté quelques effets (reverb, delay, compresseur, equalisation, noise gate et bass amp). J'ai mis 5 jours pour repiquer chaque voix, les enregistrer, les filmer et faire le montage. J'ai utilisé 38 pistes (guitare, basse, grosse caisse, caisse claire, 2 shakers, claps, 3 pianos, 3 claviers, 4 violons, 4 nappes de violons, 16 voix choeurs, 1 voix lead) mais certaines n'apparaissent pas dans la video dans un soucis de taille et de temps de montage... La plupart des voix se répètent j'ai donc fait des boucles (loops). Montage réalisé webcam, carte son presonus FP10, micro sudio projects via Logic Pro, iMovie et Final Cut Express (Mac). Pour ceux qui se poseraient la question : non il n'y a pas auto tune, melodyne, d'octavieurs ou vocodeurs. J'espère que vous allez prendre du plaisir à regarder mon travail et que cela vous donnera l'envie de réécouter les tubes de Michael Jackson.
