FC Barcelona vs Real Madrid - 27/28 November 2011 & El Clasico HD FC Barcelona History in the Clasico - There is often a fierce rivalry between the two strongest teams in a national league, and this is particularly the case in La Liga, where the game between Barça and Real Madrid is known as El Clásico. From the start, the clubs were seen as representatives of two rival regions in Spain: Catalonia and Castile, as well as of the two cities themselves. The rivalry projects what many regard as the political and other tensions felt between Catalans and the Castilians. During the dictatorships of Primo de Rivera and (especially) of Francisco Franco (19391975), all regional cultures were openly suppressed (eg, all the languages spoken in Spanish territory, except Spanish itself were officially banned). Symbolising Catalan people's desire for freedom, Barça became more than a club (Més que un Club) for it and one of its greatest ambassadors. According to Manuel Vázquez Montalbán, Catalans' best way of demonstrating their identity was by joining Barça. It was less risky than joining a clandestine anti-Franco movement and allowed them to express their dissidence. On the contrary, Real Madrid was widely seen as the embodiment of the sovereign oppressive centralism and the fascist regime at management level and beyond (Santiago Bernabeu, the former club president for whom the Merengues' stadium is named, fought with los nacionales).[23][24] However, during the Spanish Civil War ...

As detailed in The Art of the Pirates of the Caribbean, the proposed story for the fourth film was for Sparrow and Barbossa to meet up in the newly founded New Orleans, before they sail to find the Fountain of Youth together. Johnny Depp signed on to return in September 2008, and Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio began writing under the guidance of producer Jerry Bruckheimer. The film is set for release in Summer 2011. Geoffrey Rush has expressed interest in returning as Barbossa. Beforehand, Gore Verbinski was hesitant about directing, citing the incomplete scripts he worked with filming the sequels. Keira Knightley has stated that she does not wish to continue playing her character of Elizabeth Swann as she wants to do different projects. Orlando Bloom has also stated that he does wish to return. In June 2009, Bruckheimer stated Disney would prefer the fourth installment of Pirates be released before The Lone Ranger film, which he, Depp, Elliott and Rossio had been working on for release in Summer 2011. He also hoped Verbinski would return to direct after his BioShock adaptation had been put on hold. At San Diego Comic-Con 2009, Bruckheimer stated he intends to begin filming in April or May 2010. Rob Marshall entered negotiations to direct in August 2009. Depp, in full Jack Sparrow get-up, appeared at the D23 Expo convention to announce the Summer 2011 release date and title as Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. In September 2009, Dick Cook, Chairman of Walt Disney ...

Alun Wyn Jones singing the National Anthem. With a backing group of 70000-plus Jones led us all with his lusty version of hen Wlad Fy Nhadau. Spine-chilling. Spiderman 4 Gossip Hi Im Joslyn For Clevver.com in Beverly Hills and if that last Spider Man movie left you wanting more, you may be in luck! David Lindsay-Abaire won a Pulitzer Prize in 2007 for his drama Rabbit Hole, only to be quickly ensnared by a spiders web. The world-class playwrite is in the final negotiations to write Spider Man 4 for Columbia Pictures. Lindsay-Abaire maybe the final piece of the puzzle as far as this potential film is considered. Apparently Sam Raimi, Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst are all expected to return for the latest movie featuring the Marvel Comics Character. But that is all we really know. Producer Laura Ziskin says she hopes the film would be released in May 2011, but as far as plot details are considered-well all that juicy info is under lock and key. Lindsay Abaire has said in interviews that his writing tends to surround people in need of clarity, which would probably put his work on sympathetic terms with Peter Park, who is nothing if not always the perpetual outsider. With a theater writer working on the latest Spidey flick, it seems only fitting to remind viewers that efforts to take the film franchise to the Broadway stage continue. At the current moment 40 million dollars have been spent on this arguous process, which is the most expensive production in the history of all theater. Whether it's the box office or the theater district Spiderman knows how to do it when it comes to breaking records of all sorts. For all the latest ...
The Lizard (Dr. Curt Connors) is a fictional character, a supervillain in the Marvel Comics universe and enemy of Spider-Man. The Lizard first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #6 (November 1963), and was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. In 2009, the Lizard was named IGN's 62nd Greatest Villain of All Time. Spider-Man 4 (2011) In January 2007, Columbia Pictures entered negotiations with screenwriter David Koepp, who is credited with the first Spider-Man screenplay, to pen the script for a fourth film.[32] James Vanderbilt was announced as screenwriter, impressing the studio with his focus on characterization. The studio also decided to limit the scope of the film to two villains.[33] David Lindsay-Abaire was in talks to rewrite by November 2008.[34] Sony Pictures Entertainment lists the release date as May 6, 2011.[35] On June 3, 2009, what was believed to be the first teaser poster was released in the Licensing International Expo 2009.[36] The poster was later revealed to be nothing more than a fake. [37] In September 2008, Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire made deals to direct and star respectively in the fourth and fifth films. Sony wanted to film the sequels together to keep the budget down. "The studio never considered any other actor," said a spokesman about recasting the role. "Tobey was our only choice and the only person we've discussed the role with."[38] The following month, Raimi said he expected filming to begin in March 2010.[39] Maguire will earn $50 million ...
English club Arsenal, undeterred by a rebuff during the January 2004 transfer window, made a move for the striker at the end of the 2003-04 season. Van Persie also emerged as a target for Dutch club PSV Eindhoven, Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen, and Spanish side Sevilla. However Arsenal fended off other club interest and signed van Persie, despite already having signed Spanish striker José Antonio Reyes from Sevilla. Van Persie completed his move for a fee believed to be in the range of £3 million to the Premiership on May 17, 2004. Praised by Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger for the strength of his talent and touted as a long-term replacement of Dennis Bergkamp, the young Dutchman made his debut for the team in the 3-1 FA Community Shield victory over Manchester United on August 8, 2004. Early on, he played as a left winger, but subsequently featured as a striker. He spent most of his time on the bench during earlier parts of the season and looked to have earned himself a permanent place there with his sending off against Southampton which cost Arsenal two points, and caused Wenger to display uncharacteristic anger in public with a player. To his credit, Van Persie redoubled his efforts in training during his suspension and was reintroduced in to the team when injuries to Thierry Henry forced Wenger's hand. His return to the first team has been marked with numerous goals, the pinnacle of his achievements (at that time) coming in the FA Cup semi-final against Blackburn ...
