A major storm clawed its way up the East Coast on Sunday, crippling travel and disappointing New England merchants the weekend before Christmas after blanketing parts of the mid-Atlantic with record snow, nearly 2 feet in places. (Dec. 20)
Millions of residents along the East Coast are now preparing for a massive winter storm which could leave over two and a half feet of snow in some regions. Nancy Cordes reports.

It was pointing out my window, and so during the night section it occasionally goes out of focus due to car headlights reflecting off the glass. The power also went out at 2300 and it ran on battery for nearly five hours. There is a one hour gap between when the battery finally died and when I was finally able to plug it in again the next morning at 0500.

The week of Feb. 5-9, 2007, Oswego, NY got BOMBED with snow. This is one of my little clips of the very first day, and the wind and cold was absolutely terrible.

Time-lapse photography of the Boston Common during a February 2006 blizzard. Shot using a Canon PowerShot A95 from 80 Boylston Street.
