Laura Branigan - Ti Amo (Live) - HQ Audio 4:03

Laura Branigan (July 3, 1957 -- August 26, 2004) was a popular American singer and actress of Irish ancestry. She was best known for her 1982 platinum-selling single "Gloria," a major hit throughout the world which spent a record-setting 36 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100. Branigan's vocal performance of the song earned her a Grammy Award nomination in early 1983. Following the massive success of "Gloria," Branigan introduced the ballad "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You", which spent three weeks at #1 on the US Adult Contemporary chart. The same year, she had another Top 10 Pop hit with "Solitaire". Branigan's "Self Control" album (1984) was certified Platinum and was her all-time biggest seller with the title track becoming an international smash. Her other pop hits include "The Lucky One", "Ti Amo", "Spanish Eddie", and "Power of Love". Laura Branigan died suddenly at her home on Long Island, New York, on August 26, 2004. Her death was attributed to a previously undiagnosed brain aneurysm. It was reported in the media that she had been experiencing headaches for a few weeks before her death but did not seek medical attention. Branigan was cremated and her ashes were distributed over Long Island Sound.

Seventeen 4:58

At Seventeen I learned the truth at seventeen That love was meant for beauty queens And high school girls with clear skinned smiles Who married young and then retired The Valentines I never knew The Friday night charades of youth Were spent on one more beautiful At seventeen I learned the truth And those of us with ravaged faces Lacking in the social graces Desperately remained at home Inventing lovers on the phone Who called to say come dance with me And murmured vague obscenities It isn't all it seems At seventeen A brown eyed girl in hand me downs Whose name I never could pronounce Said, "Pity please the ones who serve They only get what they deserve" The rich relation/ed hometown queen Marries into what she needs With a guarantee of company And haven for the elderly Remember those who win the game They lose the love they sought to gain debentures of quality And dubious integrity Their small town eyes will gaze at you In dull surprise when payment due Exceeds accounts received At seventeen To those of us who know the pain Of Valentines that never came And those whose names were never called When choosing sides for basketball It was long ago and far away The world was younger than today And dreams were all they gave for free To ugly duckling girls like me We all play the game and when we dare To cheat ourselves at solitaire Inventing lovers on the phone Repenting other lives unknown That call and say, come dance with me And murmur vague obscenities At ugly girls like me ...

A LA MEDIA NOCHE Y MEDIA- TRAILER largometraje VENEZUELA 0:49

A huge wave threatens to destroy the city. Many people leave in panic, only a few remain in the lonely streets. Among them are SEBASTIAN, a skeptical and irresolute young loner; ANA, a woman who seeks in others the passion she can't live; and an apocalyptic GIRL. They turn the city into a games board where the stakes are love and the end of the world.

Kardinal Offishall and Solitaire, rehearse for their up-coming performance of Dangerous with Akon @ the 2008 MuchMusic Video Awards. Jason Harrow (born May 11, 1976 in Scarborough, Ontario), better known by his stage name Kardinal Offishall (pronounced /ˈkɑːrdɪnæl oʊfɪˈʃæl/), is a Canadian hip-hop MC and producer of Jamaican descent. Kardinal is often credited as Canada's "hip-hop ambassador"[1], and along with MC's such as Saukrates and Maestro Fresh Wes, he's arguably the most popular. To date, Kardinal is the only Canadian urban act to appear on BET's Rap City (even freestyling in the booth with Big Tigger), and on MTV's Advance Warning (which introduces the world to artists on the verge of breaking big, like former guest Kanye West). Kardinal has made brief guest appearances in Rihanna's "Pon De Replay" music video, and Sean Paul's "Get Busy" video, which was shot in Woodbridge, Ontario (a Toronto suburb). He has also appeared on mixtapes from Clinton Sparks and DJ Green Lantern. In 2006, Kardinal collaborated with Akon, Cipha Sounds, DJ Whoo Kid, and various members of the Black Jays family, among others. At the 2006 MuchMusic Video Awards, Kardinal walked away with 3 awards for "Everyday (Rudebwoy)", including Best Video, Best Director (RT!) and VideoFACT Award. At the MMVA's, he announced that he had an upcoming collaboration with the Canadian Reggae Band Bedouin Soundclash, now known as the single "Last Standing Soldier" (Remix).
