YMCA Executive Director Henry Crosby gives us a few minutes of his time to explain the Stop the Madness Lock-in for youth that is happening on Saturday July 31st.
The Power of Youth is a group of students representing all high schools in Porter County who are passionate about serving the community around them. On July 28, 2010, they awarded four nonprofit organizations grants to aid with their causes and programs. The recipients were the Portage Township YMCA, Discoveries Unlimited, Valparaiso Parks and Recreation, and the Visiting Nurses Association.
